UA Legal Clinic

The Transactional Clinic is a service of the University of Arkansas School of Law. The Transactional Clinic provides counseling and representation of non-profit organizations serving Northwest Arkansas.

"Services include startup, incorporation, obtaining federal and state tax exemptions, change of business form, purchase and lease of real and personal property, employment and labor law issues, and general contract negotiation, drafting and execution. In addition, students may prepare and participate as presenters in workshops on matters of general interest to non-profit organizations.

Legal Clinic Faculty supervise and review the student attorneys' work, and provide personal feedback to the individual student attorneys."

The University of Arkansas School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach

The School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach offers a wide range of services that support the diverse educational needs throughout the state, the region, and the nation.  The school is responsible for developing and supporting continuing education activities sponsored by the University of Arkansas.  

Activities are conducted through a variety of means, including on-site conferences, statewide and regional meetings, in-house customized training, as well as technology-supported seminars.

United Ways of Northwest Arkansas - Comprised of the United Way of Benton County and the United Way of Washington County, United Ways of Northwest Arkansas provides services to Northwest Arkansas through VolunteerNWA.org, a volunteer "clearinghouse" that matches volunteers with organizations in need of assistance for long-term projects as well as one-time opportunities.

United Way of Washington County - The United Way of Washington County provides services and financial support to more than 30 nonprofit agencies and organizations in northwest Arkansas.

United Way of Benton County - The United Way of Benton county provides services and financial support to more than 60 nonprofit agencies in Northwest Arkansas as well as more than 10 youth sports programs in Benton county.
