Satellite Truck
Our mobile Satellite News Vehicle can be used in a variety of settings providing educational, instructional, and training material to local, statewide, and international constituents.
This satellite truck is equipped with analog and digital encoders that allow receiving and broadcasting of Ku analog and digital satellite signals.
We can be on-site at your University and/or event providing a professional staff with the expertise and technological background to assist you in successfully meeting your telecommunication needs.
Uplink/Downlink
The University of Arkansas' satellite truck is capable of uplinking two analog or digital signals simultaneously, or one analog and one digital signal at the same time. Our truck also has a redundant path, which means that if only one signal is being transmitted, a backup system is in place in case of failure on the primary uplink path.
Our satellite truck utilizes equipment from multiple vendors, the most notable of which are Miteq, Tandberg, MCL, Grass Valley, and Sony.
