Admissions

To be eligible for admission, you must have a bachelor's degree in nursing from a school accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

Students must submit application materials, including all official transcripts* to be admited to the University of Arkansas Graduate School. Applications for admission must be accompanied by a $40 application fee, which is non-refundable and will not apply against the general registration fee if the applicant enrolls. In addition, students must be admitted to the School of Nursing graduate program. To be considered for program admission, students must:

  1. Submit a photocopy of current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
  2. Submit photocopies of a current CPR (American Heart Association for Professionals) certification, TB screening, Hepatitis immunization, professional liability insurance, and health insurance.
